Getting started

Unbox & Connect

1. Unpair any prior devices
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone (if not already on).
3. Download the BlueDriver App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
4. Launch the App.
5. Create an account or log in with your credentials.
6. When prompted, allow permissions for:
   • Bluetooth access
   • (Android only) Location services
   • (Optional on Android) You may also connect through your phone’s Bluetooth settings
7. Turn your vehicle’s ignition to the "Key On, Engine Off" position (dash lights on, engine not running).
8. Plug the BlueDriver sensor into your vehicle’s OBDII port.
9. In the app, accept the connection prompts (Bluetooth + Location if asked).
10. Wait for connection:
    • If you tap the Connect button → it should link in about 10–15 seconds
    • If you don’t → the app will automatically connect in about 30 seconds
11. Confirm the connection prompt in the app — you’re ready to start scanning!
